It has been almost been two months since I started to curate events in the form of 100 consecutive days that make me happy. Many days go by in routine and there’s always something that is small and happy. Days are also so busy and one doesn’t always feel inspired or productive or creative enough to write. Which is why, it took me twice the number of days to get till here.

Often times I have wondered whether I should continue or not. I do look out for some external validation, then I stop and reflect.

And, then, I return. I just write.

Not all commitments do me good, but this one does. It is about happiness.

My husband says — When in doubt, keep going.

I was to acknowledge these inconsistencies and be kind to myself. And slowness clears my mind. Clears my brain fog.

I write better.

Maybe 100 happy days are not written 100 days in a row. Many things happen. Life happens. But, there are still these little joys, everyday. For example, my husband made delicious pasta today, just as a surprise.

PS: This article is a part of the 100 Happy Days series where I have committed to writing about simple things in life that bring me happiness and joy. Hoping that this experiment will help me cultivate a deeper relationship with myself. If you like it, please follow the list in the link above. Deeply appreciated!
